ZIARNO

Visual identity for Ziarno, a Polish brand of flavoured coffees that turns the morning ritual into a small pleasure.

About the project

The logo is a warm, characterful wordmark in which the final letter "o" doubles as a coffee bean, so the product is part of the name itself.

Caramel, nut, vanilla or cinnamon: every blend should smell the way the palette looks. Spicy orange, golden orange, old lace and dark walnut keep the brand warm and appetising.

The brand speaks simply, without coffee-shop jargon. A characterful serif carries the headlines and a clean sans-serif handles the copy, setting the tone of the claim: good coffee, no complications.

On the packaging the identity comes together: the wordmark, a flavour name, a short description and a strength scale. Each flavour gets its own colour from the palette and its own icon built around the coffee bean.

The system also reaches beyond the bags: a can for Zimny karmel, an iced caramel coffee, keeps the same layout and swaps the icon for a snowflake, repeated as a subtle pattern in the background.
